I have no idea who that is unless it's 1980's Steve Perry.

I didn't either but I looked at the replies and I think it's the lead singer of Creed, Scott Stapp.

Creed sucks but was a huge deal if you're currently between the age of about 30 and 50

Have gone to every Arizona Bowl that allowed fans. Not going this year as we won’t give our money or our time to a Barstool entity. As long as there is that association, they go on our list with Chik full a hate and Hobby Lobby. I’m sure they won’t miss two old women, but we’ll enjoy not supporting misogyny.

I feel like Barstool needs to support a bowl for ASU. They seem made for each other.

That may have been the worst try at comedy I have ever seen. So bad it has to be a parody of someone who thinks something in funny that no one else does, right?

That spot alone should be able to convince anyone not to support this bowl game.

Doesn't even seem that long ago - the year 2000? - when pop radio cut an endless loop of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blink 182, Eminem, Brittney, Linkin Park, and Creed.

Creed disappeared as quickly as Nu Metal right around the same time, and since then the last time Stapp made news was over a psychotic breakdown he carried over Facebook Live:

Why can’t Arizona step in. No travel, no practice, maybe missing players. Who cares.

Would be funny though see the first 1-11 team to play in a bowl.

It's the middle of winter break and all the students are away from campus with their families...doesn't make sense to bring them all back on like 48 hours notice when half of them probably have covid currently anyway.

I wish I could feel badly for the bowl organizers, but lie down with dogs, you’re bound to get fleas. I just feel badly for the hoteliers and other local businesses (and one employee at Dragoon who was so stoked to see his team).

Scott Stapp just got freed up to play the 17th Annual Dubuque Hog Caller Society Pot Luck.

Anyone doing this year's Arizona Bowl? Wyoming returns (with hopefully another 15-20K fans) to face the Ohio Bobcats.

Of note this game isn't set for broadcast anywhere on TV? Instead Barstool will be streaming from their social media accounts? Where Barstool's legacy heads Dave Portnoy and Dan Katz will serve up the color commentary.

If I can score some free tickets walking around the tailgate. I do realize we need more broadcast options, I’d just prefer not to give my money to this one.

Yeah I saw that.

But isn't it good place to block out the sun during day games? I know on the Arizona side it is.

Barstool did their podcasts from Arizona’s facilities so if you see the videos on social media they are sitting in front of a wall of Arizona helmets.

We go every year. Wife is a CSU grad, so the game sucked. But it's a fun time.

2 notes: UA Athletics need to get someone else to run the concessions. First quarter the concession stand in NEZ was out of food trays and nacho cheese.
They got more later, but how are they running low on supples? They just spent four months hosting games.

Second: the sound system is awful. We could hear the DJ clearly but a lot of other stuff was not very clear, including the Mariachi guy.
