Eh, we struggled hard in 1-16 in 2013-14, then just jackhammered Gonzaga in round 2.

College kids.. there's no carryover.

Even in '97, the Cats struggled with 13 Seed South Alabama and had their hands full with 12 seed C of Charleston (I think it was). I think early adversity in the tournament sometimes pushes teams.

My gf is a multiple time alumni of NMSU so I suppose I'm rooting for them, especially over UConn, although she couldn't care less about any sportsball.

Not surprised about Iowa. They always seem to do well in the regular season and then choke in the tournament. They remind me a lot of Arizona in that respect. Such a disappointing yet predictable pattern.
