Jaime Jacquez play by far the worst game I have ever seen him play
You mean Juzang right? Jaquez is the only one who was trying for the first 35mins
No I meant Jacquez. He played hard but he missed lay up after layup. He was their main ISO option and he just didn’t deliver.
I have never been A big fan of Juzang and his shooting is very streaky. Last year in the tournament he hit at a very high %. This year he hasn’t been very consistent.
I do really like Tyger. He really takes care of the ball and has really improved his shot. He hit that big three late in the shot clock

I won't check his TO rate, but Tyger has mad handles if by the eye test.

WCC still in play to go 3-0 and they might advance all three to the 16 given where things are

Both
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

I desperately need Texas Southern to come all the way back and tie up their game too so this night never has to end.

If I wanted to prove to my team the value of free throws I would have them watch the last 5 minutes of the St. Peter's / Kentucky game. They were relaxed and automatic.

St. Peter's has to be feeling pretty good with how banged up Murray St. is.

Was really looking forward to Murray St (which is in a Kentucky) playing Kentucky but those wildcats ducked them again

I have seriously relapsed to as low a state as ever....
I watched (part of) every game yesterday. I never really got bored. Never turned the TV off.
Harm reduction is barely even a consideration, let alone any degree of control, reduction or abstinence....

Took the day off for my annual booze-a-thon with my buddies. Every first Friday of the tourney we sit at a bar for sometimes 14 hours straight, drinking, bullshitting, and watching games.
I am happy man today.

Would seem they would have been told about an equipment change and in their shoot around s the day before, would have had access to the balls about to be used.
I never liked a brand new ball unless it was worked a bit. I will say the Spaulding brand is what we used back when they still hung peach baskets. If the ball is an issue then you better drive or have some great bigs

Why would they experiment with a new ball for the tournament? Must be money involved
Well there's no universal ball. Usually the home teams uses their own ball from their equipment supplier. Arizona uses a Nike ball.
In the NCAA tournament, the NCAA provides the ball and it's usually Wilson and they're usually good. Wilson has usually been the best for shooters, over say Spalding.
Think we used a Wilson ball in the pac 12 tournament, might not have been the new one because it doesn't look as bright orange as the NCAA tournament one.
