Lauri came back from a month off with an ankle sprain to put up 22 points and 6 rebounds in limited minutes for the Cavs.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Deandre Ayton tonight in a win vs. the Timberwolves:
35 points (15-24), 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block, 1 steal

Grant Jerrett had been playing this season with Avtodor of the VTB United League in Russia. He left that team after his host country invaded Ukraine.
Grant has had fairly interesting pit stops all around the world since leaving Arizona.

That still equals 1 year of service towards retirement.
Re: Former Cats in the NBA
It is in the books. Gabe York is an NBA player. Got to play his first NBA game alongside his old point guard pal T.J. McConnell.

Being one of his harshest critics while a Cat*, I am extremely glad for him.
*-Although more on coaching, in what world would you call for Gabe York to be a PG with the game on the line.

I'm super happy for Gabe. A true Wildcat, he stuck it out for 4 years, even when things weren't going his way and some people were telling him to transfer. To me, that says worlds about his character and his commitment.

I don't get people who hate on York. He had a lot of memorable moments and was a major contributor on the two best Arizona teams in almost 20 years.BBQ wildcat wrote: ↑Sat Apr 09, 2022 2:27 pm I'm super happy for Gabe. I watching the Nets/Pacers game when he came in. I had no idea he made a roster and it was cool as hell seeing him out there.
Re: Former Cats in the NBA
Watching the Sun/Pelicans game. Two former Wildcats on the floor. One wearing a Suns uniform. One wearing stripes.

I could have sworn the post said “wearing different uniforms” when I responded but maybe I’m intoxicated and seeing things.

Whoa, that's a lot. Sucks having people you trust take advantage of you.
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere
Rich and Shameless on TNT (and HBOMax) ran an episode on Brian Williams/Bison Dele. They chronicled his early career, surprise retirement and then mysterious death (fingers pointed at this brother).

Just saw Kyle Fogg outside a yoga gym on Grant after lunch. Been in town for a while now. Did Liaoning re-sign him?
