This conference isn’t going to do us any favors this year.
Too bad we can’t join the Big12 after the Maui trip.

Re: 2022-23 Pac 12 Game thread
I'm thinking Tennessee isn't as good as their ranking would indicate. Especially when Colorado lost to Grambling St. already.
And lol ASU.

And then after losing to gambling, Colorado beats Tennessee!?!?!?!?!?!?!? In Knoxville??
We better spank the Vols in Tucson.

Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

Thursday's opponent Utah Tech is up 36-34 on Washington at the half. Game is on Pac 12 Washington.

Huskies hold on 78-67. The 25 minute delay because the clock and horn died probably helped too.
We'll have to show them on Thursday how to properly beat these guys.

Cougs loss to Prairie View
Huskies squeaking by North Florida & Utah Tech
Oregon loss to UC Irvine
Oregon State close at halftime against Bushnell, a
school with an enrollment of 699.
Cal 0-3 w/ loses to UC Davis & UC San Diego
Stanford beating Pacific by 10
USC w/ a loss to Florida Gulf Coast
Colorado loss to Grambling State
Arizona St w/ a loss to Texas Southern and getting
lucky vs Tarleton State
and the season is just three games in...
and people actually want to stay in this mid major with these losers?

Nope, need to get out soon. This conference will never prepare UA for the tournament.

Uuuummm, why is ASU in an event called the "Legends Classic"?
Is it because according to legend, they were good for a couple of years in the 80s?

Michigan must suck, or maybe they all got a Thorazine dose. They cannot score.

Re: 2022-23 Pac 12 Game thread
UCLA just loss to Illinois. Their all world freshman guard Bailey has not looked good in any game. There center Bona is athletic but has not really shown he can score yet. We know how tough Ill. can be (Shannon had 29)but the bruins can't score with up tempo teams yet. UCLA was leading at half but were shooting much worse than Ill. Ill. issue was TO's in the first half. Take note.
I don't really understand how UCLA will be able to defend 2 decent big men. I don't think they realize we have 3 7footers and an all conference 6'11 forward.

Our conference will not make a difference in either our selection to the tourney or our success. What will make a difference is our out of conference scheduling which just hasn't been there this year. Look at how the Zags schedule.
