Creighton fans are stabbing Tommy Lloyd voodoo dolls right now. If these transfers come through we will have an instant mortal enemy.

Lmao. I would hate Arizona too.
With the way college basketball is treading I'm sure we'll be doing the same in the future.

Nkamhoua isn't quite as dynamic offensively as Zu, but he's a very good player. He'd complement Ballo nicely up front.

Don't think we'd get Kaluma *and* the Tennessee guy. The latter sounds more likely.

Yeah, same. Scheer was the first to say we lead for Nkamhoua and he also shot down the Kaluma rumor. He was wrong on Kerr to Xavier, though.Beachcat97 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 09, 2023 1:24 pmDon't think we'd get Kaluma *and* the Tennessee guy. The latter sounds more likely.

Scheer and Luke really need to cut out their shit about attacking other people and need to be professional on Twitter but no reason to be upset about him giving a prediction that didn't work out

I drool over Boswell and Nembhard in the backcourt. We could have the best backcourt in the country, or at least in the conversation. If Zu returns we could have the best frontcourt in the nation. We need an athletic SF badly. Someone like Mathuran. And a deeper bench.

Still a little concerned about how small Boswell/Nembhard are, but as long as we've got good size in the paint, could be a non-issue.Catintheheat wrote: ↑Sun Apr 09, 2023 3:41 pm I drool over Boswell and Nembhard in the backcourt. Hear me out. Most of the time you come across as holier than thou or outright hostile which is why people goof on you. You can have a different opinion here if you are willing to be corrected or at least agree to disagree. It just seems like you always have to be right.

Carter has said he is down to two teams Arizona and Louisville. Don't be surprised if St. John's and Pitino end up enticing him.

Re: Let's talk '23
Unless the player is close to NBA ready, I'd prefer an experienced transfer portal player. My problem with a player life Carter is he is here one year before he develops enough and then goes league or transfers. Unless high school player is special I would consider the player, he shoud be lower priority.
Re: Let's talk '23
He is a top 5-10 player and to me would fit in perfect. Need him.Catintheheat wrote: ↑Mon Apr 10, 2023 7:16 am Unless the player is close to NBA ready, I'd prefer an experienced transfer portal player. How about Max Abmas?
He'd be a nice scorer for a year!
Rather have RN for a couple of it were a choice between the 2 but, man Max is good.

Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

I’m hoping it really is Kaluma. That would be really solid.

Nembhard
Kaluma
Pelle
Ballo
Lewis
Veesaar
Anderson
Borovacinin

Kaluma seems to be not true,
From what has been said, I think it's likely that the wing is pretty good and would likely bounce Pelle to the bench (still playing starter mins), so it's likely to be something like...
Boswell
Nembhard
____ wing
Nkamhoua
Ballo
Larsson
Veesaar
Lewis
Borovacanin
Anderson
Re: Let's talk '23
Hard to think we wouldn’t miss a guy who averaged a double double but I think a more physical presence at that spot would do us wonders.

Yes we need to lose ZU after he lost POTY in the PAC 12. ZU is our best choice and I hope he stays. A player that led the league in pts and rebounds.
