My buddy coaches varsity in the valley. Said he’s the best frosh he’s ever seen and coached against.

Arizona, Baylor, Texas, and UCLA are just a few more programs that Peat consistently hears from and he is considering for visits. He discussed his thoughts on each of the schools with 247Sports:
Arizona: “I plan on going on visiting them soon with my coach. They are a great school. I hear from Tommy Lloyd. Their coaching staff comes to our high school practices to come and see me. They talk to me sometimes and they are where I am from. They definitely have to be in the mix for sure.”

Arizona head coach Tommy Lloyd and assistant Jack Murphy hit the recruiting trail on Wednesday and one player that received an offer was Santa Maria (Calif.) St. Joseph small forward Tounde Yessoufou.
The 6-foot-6, 211-pound 2025 prospect is rated as the 15th best player in the country according to 247Sports and also holds offers from Arizona State, UCLA, Washington State, and more.
Yessoufou is only the second offer from Arizona in the 2025 class, which is an indication of how high the coaching staff is on him. Wednesday was the second time that Lloyd has seen him play in person and that was enough for the Arizona head coach.
"6-foot-6 Tounde Yessoufou from California is ranked highest at No. 15 overall, and he has the physical profile of somebody who could pass for a junior or senior in college," 247Sports National Recruiting Analyst Eric Bossi previously wrote. "He’s been putting up big numbers lately and could end up crashing the five-star party sooner than later."

Scheer said we were the first to offer. Hopefully we get an early commitment. I think these next few classes will be some of the best we've had in a long time.

Re: Let's talk '25
Is it me or has CTL widened his offer net?
Re: Let's talk '25
With two full years under his belt to build relationships with the American recruits, he probably feels that he has established the rapport and reputation he needs to effectively pull some of these kids to AZ. I think he was selective, because he needed to establish his identity, and culture, at Arizona, and he had limited exposure to some of the individuals in those Junior and Senior classes. Now that he has been in touch with several of these kids (as the Head Coach at AZ), since their Freshman and Sophmore years, he is able to throw out a wider net. I think we forget that although he was considered a superb recruiter, while at Gonzaga, a significant amount of his time was spent overseas. He didn’t have a ton of (current) domestic connections to lean on. The rumors that he was the lead for Suggs and Holmgren were only partially true. He closed the deal, when they were ready to commit, but he wasn’t the primary facilitator for the initial contact, etc. Now he has solid connections in place, and can work them more effectively. It will be exciting to see a healthy balance of a U.S. and foreign kids going forward.

Top 60 forward Hudson Greer breaks down his recruitment
Hudson Greer, the No. 58 overall prospect in the class of 2025 is starting to narrow down his options. The 6-foot-6 forward from Lake Travis (Texas) is currently being prioritized by Iowa, Creighton, UCLA, Texas, Arizona, Alabama and LSU. Greer also received an offer from Arkansas last week.
“Right now the recruitment process is going well but I’m finally starting to cut my list down,” Greer said. “I’m just now seeing who’s my favorites. I’m starting to go on these officials and unofficials when I can like I was supposed to do with Iowa. Now I have one official lined up with Creighton the weekend of December 8th.
Outside of Greer’s official to Creighton, he took an unofficial to Arizona two weeks ago and will visit UCLA unofficially this Saturday.
Greer broke down of the programs pushing hard for him with 247Sports.
Arizona: “Coming into that visit I definitely knew everything about the basketball side of things but being there I got to see how they are off the court. I saw how those guys interact and it was a great vibe.”
Creighton: “I can’t wait to see how those guys workout. From watching their film and talking to the coach it’s cool to see how many shots they get up per game. Every year they lead the nation in shots attempted and usually shot makes.”
UCLA: “I’m from California so I know what I’m going to get geographically. Coming into this visit I’m looking to see what their practice looks like. I hear Mick Cronin is a tough coach and that’s what I want in a head coach.”
As Greer continues to take his visits he knows what he will be paying attention to.
“I’m looking at how the guys interact on and off the court,” he said. “That’s why I take these visits. Of course you’re going to know what you’re getting on the court based off what you see on TV but I want to see what happens off the court.”
Greer also has a timetable on when to expect a list cut or a final decision.
“I would say a list cut would come at the end of my junior season of high school,” he said. “If I feel like I have something good going I would commit this summer or early next year.”

“I get to my spots, and I play defense with intensity,” Sanon told On3. “I play hard. I’ve become more of a two-way player this season and I’m not only focusing on scoring the ball, but playing defense. I watch a lot of Bennedict Mathurin on the offensive end. He makes quick decisions, things are never too fast for him, and he’s got good size.”
...
“I’ve taken one official visit so far, I went to Oklahoma State,” Sanon said. “I’ll be going to Arizona on an official visit this weekend, and to LSU next week. I don’t have anything set with Indiana or Georgia, but I am hearing a good bit from them too.”
...
Arizona: “They play a lot like my high school, and I like that. They move the ball and set a lot of off-the-ball screens. They like to move the ball, it doesn’t stick. It’s a lot of the same thing. Coach (Tommy) Lloyd tells me he likes my jump shot. They need someone like me who can get to their spots and knock down jumpers. They say that they want me to play a role like Bennedict Mathurin and how he played with them.”
...
“I’m not sure what I will do, stay in the 2025 class or come out in 2024,” Sanon said. “It will really all depend on if I feel like I’m ready.
“When I go on these visits, I’m going to be looking at the atmosphere of the school,” Sanon said. “I’ll look at my teammates and the recruits the school is bringing in with me. I want to play with people I like. The coaching staff will be big too. Trust is big."
“I want to play for a coach that plays fast and with players who are versatile, can spread the floor and do anything really.”

I am 100% in favor of getting the kids of our former players into the program, even if they ride the bench like Mason’s kid did. Just having Andre and Gil around the program will do wonders for our national perception and in the recruiting world. What high rated recruit’s parents WOULDN’T want to rub elbows with Andre Iguadala?
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

"There is a real chance that Burries could end up reclassifying and programs like Arizona, Duke, Houston, UCLA and others are keeping close tabs."
