vs. Utah - L
at Scummies - W
7-5
My keys to a good season/my prediction:
1) Got to beat 3 "beatable teams" on the road - Stanford, Colorado and of course ASSU.
2) Need to go 2-1 in "toss up" games (imo) against UCLA, Wazzu and the Beavs.

6-6, barely, and that assumes an upset win over UCLA for the 2nd year in a row.
If we win only the games we should win we could easily wind up 5-7.
The team will be better, but will still come up short on the defensive side of the ball.

Really bullish on this team. Mostly because IMO Fisch and company have executed their plan to perfection it seems. They have an eye for talent and I trust they have the guys they want. Still inexperienced but we should have enough guys to get to 7 wins and maybe 8
NAU W
Miss St W
UTEP W
Furd W
UDub L
USC L
WAZZU L
Oregon St W
UCLA W
CU W
Utah L
Scum W
8-4 and if we drop either OSU or UCLA it’s 7-5

Beating a pretty good SEC team on the road sure would be a statement game for this program. Hope you are right.
They are changing styles on both sides of the ball. I think we were very disappointed in the way we played last year and we have this one circled. This one is going to be close either way

Our record will hinge entirely on 3 things. Offensive Lines continued improvement, major defensive improvement from last year, and Jayden De Laura not making the same bone head mistakes he committed last year. We improve in all 3 of those areas and this very easily could be an 8-4 or even 9-3 type team. If we don't, 5-7 or 6-6 seems likely.
Going to find out real quick the improvement we have made there. Against NAU we were about the same size as their D Line and never could mount a running game vs a FCS team. I think we pound it down their throats
Then last year against Miss St (other than our first score) we were made one dimensional and then their defensive backs and pass rush made us zero dimensional. Should be pretty easy to see our improvement…..hopefully

From what I've seen in video from camp we are much bigger and stronger on both sides of the line. We actually look like a D1 football team out there.
