No fucking business being down to Stanford. Bad coaching, stupid mistakes, and penalties. Again.

They lost 30-23 by Sacramento St., so not quite as bad as you remember.

But we still have no business losing to a team that lost to Sacramento Freaking St.

Can we bench JDL to start the 3rd?

Pathetic. Another bad, slow start. Down, at half, against Stanford? Pathetic. Still see Fisch as Stoops light. Better talent, lower win ceiling.

If we lose this one we are cooked as far as ANY chance at a bowl. Jedd has done a good job with the PR stuff and recruiting but he needs to start putting a few wins together or we are just treading water. If we don't start showing some progress the Salpointe 5 star will go somewhere else and no one can blame him. Recruits will question whether we are really making progress or if we just have a good sales job.

With that being said lets put a strong half together and win this one going away.

Gotta admit I'm starting to feel this way myself. We're supposed to be showing real improvement this year and finally make a bowl game, but at this rate we'll have a worse record than last year. JDL looks like absolute shit today, an I have no idea why Fisch refuses to give anyone else a chance.

Actually, most people (and Vegas) had us winning no more than 5. Looking at the talent level in the conference, even if we pull this one out, I don't see where the other 2 wins come from (assuming we beat asu). We will not be favored in a single game after today with the exception of asu to end the year.

Agree. If we win 6 we will have pulled two upset wins.

Not saying we can't do it, but it will be tough.

Right now we need to pull our heads out and beat Stanford.

We need to start blitzing 5 or 6 on passing downs. Our secondary has proved that they can't cover anyone.

Our best bet is to put more pressure on the QB

I disagree with the poor coaching analysis.........I think its just poor talent. Our secondary reeks and we don't have a consistent pass rush.

Its going to take a couple of more years to correct the Rodriguez/Sumlin talent hole we were left in.

Expecting a coaching staff to recruit a team out of the hole that RRod/Sumlin left the UA with in only 3 years is bullshit.

Normally, it takes 4-5 years to correct the level of talent deficiency that the UA had. The NIL/transfer portal has sped that process up a bit but this coaching staff started with Zilch, Zip, Nada.

You can't do that without showing some progress. Kids will leave in the portal if they are any good. NIL money will be hard to fine. Got to start winning.

Not in the era of the portal, when transfers come in with instant eligibility. Year 1, fine. But our talent level this year is worlds better than Year 1. The coaching isn't.

We lost 20 straight with the Sumlin "talent". If anything we're ahead of schedule especially with a first time coach.

The difference was the calls. Running the ball and quick decisions. If our defense can respond we have a chance. Our qb is doing what he should not trying for homeruns.
