College basketball is far more than just the NCAA tournament
Pathetic that some UA fans think that that is all that matters
I love it that the opinions of strangers on the internet hurt you so deeply. Maybe go outside for a while my man.
He can't. He's too busy winning bets, donating it all to the athletic program, and fighting for teenage recruits honor against Mike Luke and his army of tRoLls.
This is way beyond a UA fan problem. The focus of the entire college basketball season is the NCAA tournament. It has been this way for a long time. The entire season is focused on getting you ready for the tournament. All we hear from the talking heads during the season is Final Four, Championship contenders, seeding and bubble talk. The tournament defines your season like it or not.

I agree but for UA the regular seasons and MTE and PAC-12 tournaments have been there and should be enjoyed and celebrated. Sad some can't do that

We all enjoy the success the cats provide us in the regular season but minimizing the poor results in the NCAA tournament is simply a misdirection.
Let me know when the program stops making the FF as it’s #1 goal so we can simply say that first round tournament gane is the icing on the cake
Waiting at the Rose Bowl patiently for the cats to arrive

Holy crap this is stupid.
Enjoying the regular season and being disappointed in post season are not mutually exclusive.
APOLOGIZE TO THE COLLECTIVE!!

Looking at the number of players that the UA has contacted in the 2025 class it appears that CTL may have changed his recruiting strategy by casting a wider net.
It remains to be seen if he follows up with offers, however.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?
Those are pretty impressive stats. He should really help out NAU this year if he can keep that up.

Episode 421 - Arizona's Tommy Lloyd
College Hoops Today with Jon Rothstein
Arizona's Tommy Lloyd gives us his thoughts on the Wildcats' first five games. Is he surprised by how in sync they've been with so many new players? Discussing the big win at Duke. Why he loves the balance of this year's team. Finding balance with Love. Why he enjoys the challenge of the non-conference schedule. Previewing their matchup with Michigan State. And why you don't get bitter, you get better! Plus, Jon's giving thanks for the amazing spread of college basketball games this week! And is this the best Maui Invitational field ever?
Tommy is just wired different. He does not have an aversion to losing a game if he thinks it will pay off at some point. He always talks highly of players even when they struggle. He is a great representative for our program.

I think that Tommy intentionally provoked that Technical - he re-approached the refs and scoring table. He probably didn't say any of the magic words, but he'd already been in their face, and definitely pushed the limits.
And, they actually deserved a Bob Knight-level temper tantrum after that foul call on Boswell - a "no call" would have angering, but tolerable, as the 'Bama player fell on Boswell who did not make direct contact!!
And, taking the Tech communicated "this is a battle!!!"

I guess "Aw Shucks!" sounded like "Get Fucked!" with all the crowd background noise.

It appeared to me that he turned and said something to someone at the scorers’ table but I figured whatever he said was for the ref’s ears, not someone at the table.

He said in his press conference that he was T’d up for looking toward the head of officiating who was apparently in the crowd a row or two up.

Scheer just announced that there's an emergency ABOR meeting for Brennan's contract as well as Tommy's new extension through 2028.
Edit: Apparently Tommy's extension was just removed from the ABOR website, so it's not being discussed. lol what a clown show.

We're going to fuck around and lose another coach. We are a shit hole when it comes to having courage to approach ABOR. They have lost confidence in Robbins so it is only going to get worse.
