45 Bill Norton
Norton is a 6-6, 325, Senior defensive lineman from Georgia and Memphis, TN. He played in 13 games last season for Georgia as a reserve D-lineman and on special teams and in 26 total games in his 4 years. For his career at Georgia, Norton had 12 tackles (3.5 for loss) and no sacks. He gives us much needed experience and size, but there is no guarantee Norton is going to be instantly productive because of the opportunity for more playing time.

This guy played his heart out on the DL yesterday. Bill Norton. Several big stuffs on the LoS and a part of the gang tackling all afternoon. Was injured twice and still came back into the game and made contributions.

Consistently has been doubled. He is why we have had our LB’s running free. We need him back next year and need him ready next week

Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?
