When you never see the field on a terrible defensive team, that pretty much ensures that FCS is in your future and no need to enter the portal.

We have now had 23 scholarship players enter the portal.......but only signed 5 out of the portal. Either Fisch is going to sign a boatload of portal transfers/high school players shortly or we are going to be under-manned come next September.

Seems like we are undermanned to me as well. We have lost a ton of defensive players off of an already shit D. We will be replacing many of our departures with Freshman, RS Freshman, and Sophomores. Can't see a D that young succeeding next year. Really hope we get at least 2 more impact DLine transfers to make me feel at least somewhat more confident in our D next year.

UCLA was recruiting Kyle Ford and GBJ and was going to take the first to commit. It sounds like Ford just did. I know you guys are after Bryant. GBJ would have been my preference between the two.

Only one position is actually open though. Morgan will be at LT. RT will probably be fine with Sava, hasn’t had more than 1 spring at the position.

Transferred to Colorado in January. Apparently Deion didn't like him or he didn't like Deion...regardless, depth on the D line is needed!

Just for some additional information - Montana Lemonious-Craig's numbers - 26 receptions, 282 yards and 3 TDs. When Singer announced he was transferring, I told my buddies that I thought whoever replaced him would have better numbers. I admit I expected them both to be performing better, but so far, MLC is barely putting up better numbers.

Cowings numbers, at least yards are way down. Overall we are pretty close yardage wise passing but we have spread the ball around more with Noah

He would have had more receptions if he didn’t get injured and miss some plays. Only 5 total receptions the last two games when he typically gets 8 to 10. also he has more TDs this year.

His YPC is way down, even if he added 15 catches he only averages less than 8 yards a catch snd last year it was double digits

A lot of plays ran through Cowing have him catching passes behind the line of scrimmage. I hope we open him up more when we play for the conference championship.
