It never felt safe even with a double digit lead until under 2 minutes, and even then.

That’s the kind of win the team can build on.

Lewis and Bradley got a shedload of minutes, and Pelle stepped up.

A good win.

Really hard to believe we had more offensive rebounds then they did. We are not having any 18-20 turnover games this year.

Alabama probably feels like the refs hosed them.

Give me more KJ Lewis. Kid was tough and determined. Fans were very energetic tonight. Lots of NBA style alcohol had to help. Younger crowd as well (except me).

Just got back from the game.

3 observations:

1) Rob Rorke (who appears to officiate a lot of SEC games) was the ref that T'd up CTL. CTL was mad, and rightly so,
because the same SEC ref did not call a foul on Bama when their player literally jumped on top of Boswell. It appears that
this Rorke guy is the "screw the out of conference opponent ref for SEC teams"

2) Jaden Bradley outplayed both Boswell and Love tonight

3) KJ Lewis was a freaking stud. If the guy had any shooting touch he would be starting right now.

Looks like sleeping in my Arizona plaid jammy pants worked!
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

I was pretty pumped to see Larsson, Boswell, and Bradley step up in a game where Love was struggling most of the night. But then, in the closing minutes, Love did what he does: made timely shots in high pressure situations.

Love is the kind of guy we haven’t had in a long time

A dude who wants the ball at the end of games and actually thrives in that position

In close games he will be HIM (as the kids say)

Exactly. A clutch guard. And he's a senior! Love's impact on the team has been enormous this season. He makes scrappy plays, gets steals, and hits FTs. And you can tell his teammates feed off of his energy. He's a fierce competitor, and we're going to love him more and more as the season progresses. He will be a PROBLEM for opponents in March.

I take a breath and relax when Love is at the free throw line.

The 3 in a row he hit late when he was fouled taking a long 3 didn’t even touch rim.

Boom, boom, boom. It was beautiful to watch and pushed our lead up to 10.

And the more Kylan adopts that thing that makes Love Love, but does it in Kylan's own mode of being Kylan, the better we will be in March. There was a beast hunt and move to the basket that Kylan made deep in the 2h, followed by a well-earned baseline flex that showed me he knew what the moment demanded of him. There will be future games where we're behind despite no foul trouble, despite Love playing well, despite there being no glaring deficiencies in the team, and he'll just have to grunt us to a win nonetheless.

Everybody has to bleed.

I think the "Kylan is in a slump" talk was way overblown. He had a couple not great games. Who doesn't?

Besides... I heard a rumor... and I don't have documentation to back this up... but there is some chatter out there that Kylan isn't even 19 yet.

And, supposedly, spreading this rumor might be upsetting to Arizona fans, but the sports world deserves to know!!

For the 40 plus year old fans who attended….holy shit, the music was loud and the bass at the arena was at an 11!

It was a fun game and I was close enough to the action that I could see just how terrible the officiating was. It was fun to see KJ have a very good game.
I will see you there, or I will see you on another time
