And sorry Eeabs- hope you aren't feeling too bad and it goes away quick... but you didn't even offer me your ticket to Wed's game? (Maybe I should write about that in the venting thread?!!!!)

Hope you feel better, but look on the bright side Eeabs, you can hang with Chi's FIL for Xmas.

We hadn't purchased them - we were watching the reseller sites - they were below face value.

I had some congestion and body aches early on, feeling better now. Was able to work from home through most of it so didn't lose PTO.

I had some blood drawn recently for my yearly physical. The phlebotomist told me she is not going to get the booster unless it's absolutely required by the hospital.

WTF? She was on the front lines during the pandemic.

My sister is fully vaxxed, and still lost hearing in one ear due to Covid. She would probably be one of the million dead if she wasn't.

AFAIK, I have received every recommended vaccine out there for my age. Latest being for RSV and pneumonia, along with my yearly flu shot.

We've had them all except RSV. We're vaccine sluts.

Christmas tree put up over the weekend.

First night, 2AM: Our Orange Cat knocks over tree, loud crash; tree is posted back up, Orange Cat is sequestered into a bedroom and wails in protest.

330AM: Our Black Cat takes his turn at climbing in tree and toppling it over, loud crash; tree is posted back up, Black Cat is sequestered into same bedroom as Orange Cat.

715AM: Unbeknownst to us, Orange Cat has escaped bedroom, letting itself out while door was opened to sequester Black Cat, and is quietly sitting under Christmas tree.

Who else has pets that embrace the Christmas spirit?

I agree with your cats - This is way too early for Christmas Tree!!

Two truths: Cats are evil and guard the gateway to the underworld; Dogs are perfect and redeem us daily. I am unanimous in this.
