Was watching “Spirited” with my 11-year-old and when we got to the end credits it turns out Loren Woods played the Ghost of Christmas Future (voiced by Tracey Morgan).
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Aaron Gordon got bit in the face and (shooting) hand by a dog on Christmas and is out indefinitely. Apparently he needed 21 stitches.

They consider that the euro slide and it's acceptable.
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

It’s the NBA. Didn’t they do away with traveling?
Re: Former Cats in the NBA
I think that's called a "gather slide".

Does anyone know what the respiratory problem is that has kept him out so long?
Re: Former Cats in the NBA
Apparently he got a virus similar to Valley Fever that started this

TJ, part of an UA team full of NBAers except for the one slow short white boy guard transfer from Duquesne.
Re: Former Cats in the NBA
TJ will be eligible for Ring of Honor next year, I believe.
One criteria for automatic entry into Arizona's Ring of Honor is a 10-year career in a major professional league.

All I can think of is his broken foot and what might have been.

That game still haunts me - remember I was watching it at a bar in Bay Area on a business trip. Went to that E8 game vs Wisc and was brutal to watch Kaminsky run all over us when BAsh would have been a great cover for him vs ZeusEastCoastCat wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2024 12:26 pm All I can think of is his broken foot and what might have been.

People are still pissed. Maybe he will come out like Bison Dele and say he never really liked the game.RondaeShimmy wrote: ↑Sat May 06, 2023 1:45 pm Ayton is unfortunately really bad right now, has been for a while. Hate saying about a former Cat but he's ass.
I can't believe it. But should've seen it coming when in HS he started dropping in the rankings from #1 player because he was lazy and took plays off. Guys like Bagley, Porter, and even Bamba were passing him.
Any effort and care seem to have gone when he finally got his contract. Such a disappointing career he'll have. Right now he's getting clowned left and right from the national media, and rightfully so.

Re: Former Cats in the NBA
Gabe York had one of my favorite plays as an Arizona fan that I saw as it was unfolding, the put back on a free throw miss against a really good Utah team with Delon Wright, that made me jump off of the couch and scream and wake everybody up at my wife's cousins house when she had toddlers. It was awesome. I could be wrong but that felt like the dagger. Good for him, hope he's doing well.

Light him up RJ!

Re: Former Cats in the NBA
I think Benn is starting to figure it out. He didn’t adjust when the rest of the league started keying on him in the second half of last year but now he’s getting smarter and less singleminded as far as getting his shots up outside the flow of the offense. It’s gotta be tough going from the primary focus in college to being the 4th or 5th option in the NBA, but he’s adjusting.
