Big outcome.
Wazzu is best team in Pac-12
Smith Pac-12 COY - good candidate for national COY.
Arizona likely just lost #1 seed.
Bitter pills to swallow...

Congrats to WSU. They 100% deserved that win.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?
Re: (M) Game #26 Washington State at Arizona (2023-2024)
We took what they gave us early on, which was to attack the basket. Why did we stop doing that?
I will see you there, or I will see you on another time
Re: (M) Game #26 Washington State at Arizona (2023-2024)
Because every one we play here on out has a crap NET ranking. We could NOT afford to lose this game........and we lost at HOME

But we were an unanimous 1 seed. Not seeing how losing to a top 15 team would change that.Fishclamps wrote: ↑Thu Feb 22, 2024 11:21 pmWell its not like we were the 2nd 1 seed, we were the last 1 seed

all they had to do was get that last rebound
Re: (M) Game #26 Washington State at Arizona (2023-2024)
This and UCLA are the only games we can afford to lose. I'm just not getting the logic.

WSU was the better team all night. Their length killed us on both ends of the floor.
Re: (M) Game #26 Washington State at Arizona (2023-2024)
Our bench scored 5 points tonight
17-27 from the line
Rebounds +1
We didn't value possessions they way you need to do to win tight games against good teams

We are 0-3 vs. the PAC-2.

I expect we'll play them again in Vegas.

Hopefully they win by 9 so I don’t have to see you bump this like an insufferable prick.

They present legitimate problems for us. Wells is a hell of a player. They deserve the win.

Re: (M) Game #26 Washington State at Arizona (2023-2024)
Well Mr. Wisenheimer I did predict a UA loss and per the norm I was right. Clearly the better team won. UA fans never learn. Going on 25 years without a FF but every year delusional fans saying 'this is the year'. Blah, blah, blah but the same result. And this year will end just the same as last year, and the year before that, and the year before that in perpetuity. People yammering ad nauseum over getting a one seed. And what if UA gets one? They'll be out in the first weekend and probably the first game. Just like they do every time they get a 1 or a 2 seed. A pattern of failure despite having a multitude of talent most teams never have. Yet it's always the other teams advancing and UA sitting home after the first round. It never changes. And to think UA was foolish enough to extend Floyd this week. He's laughing all the way to the bank knowing it's guaranteed no matter what result he gets. Meanwhile UA fans continue to live in a fantasy world where they've convinced themselves they're on the same level with UCONN, Kansas, Duke, Kentucky, and North Carolina. You're on the same level with New Mexico and that's debatable. I mean UA isn't even going to win the Pac 12 and considering how bad it is that's saying something. And that's with a team that returned almost every player from last year. Absolutely ridiculous. It's ok to be supportive but be realistic. The reality is UA fans are very snobby and this year will end just like all the rest. Snap out of it.

I just visited the ESPN Mens College Basketball home page - no story visible about Arizona vs. Wazzu...

Arizona's seeding is not based in a vacuum. Why podcasters and fans don't seem to get that is wild to me.

Harden, a Tucson, Ariz., native, played for two seasons at Pima Community College. He was a two-year starter and led the Aztecs to their first National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region Championship, along with a No. 7 overall finish at the 2010 NJCAA National Championships.
He graduated from Eastern Oregon University with a master's degree in business administration in 2016 and received a bachelor's degree in communications at the University of Arizona in 2012

Usually when you predict stuff you are wrong, you just like giving insufferable post mortems after we stub our toes (tonight) or when a couple guys go bat guano crazy from 3 (all our other losses)
But thanks for pointing out stuff we already know and also lying about stuff.
Bold is lies, underlines might happen.
Are we sure he isn't Goodman?
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

Re: (M) Game #26 Washington State at Arizona (2023-2024)
You are very well informed. We returned 18% of our scoring which is the same as WSU. Ballo is the only starter we returned with Bos and Pelle off the bench. Yes we were foolish enough to extend the all time winningest coach to start a head coaching career but we really might have screwed that up.Captain Obvious wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2024 7:53 amWell Mr. Wisenheimer I did predict a UA loss and per the norm I was right.
