I agree we want a confident Bozwell but he took 15 shots today. I don't see a time this year we want him taking more than that

25% shooting won't hack it. He is way too inconsistent to be considered anywhere near ready to be drafted.

I don’t think CTL will chastise him too much. It’s not like they were bad shots, and in the past he has hit them.

But agree we need the confident version of Boswell.

Love it when guards get past our players and they don't give up and drop down and get a deflection and a steal like Kylan did on that one. Really need to see the steal and the assist together.

Also Keshad when he swats the guard from behind on a similar play. This game someone on the team had one of those.

You don't really see too many double bounce assists. That was fantastic. Do you think they practice that?

What is he saying there after the play?

IIRC that swat took place just after he returned from being shaken up.

Bos announced a new NIL deal with the Tucson Dave and Buster’s today. Not sure if this bodes well for him returning for his junior season.

Why is that? I don't get the connection.

The more NIL money he makes the better. If Tubelis would have listened to me he would be making more money in Tucson with NIL than he makes overseas.

Besides where would he go? Having a huge sophomore slump does not put him into the lottery.

Why would that be a bad sign of him returning?

He's not getting drafted this year

I wrote that poorly. I was just wondering whether the timing of this particular NIL deal meant anything about his plans, one way or the other.

Unlike Kerr Kriisa, Kylan Boswell is extremely likable. I imagine his NIL deals will just get better the longer he stays.

While this thread is bumped, I noticed him shooting a lot of 3s during the UCLA warmup. He looked like the starter out there the longest to me, so clearly he's upset about his slump, but I guess it'll take some time for that to translate into game improvements.

I am believing now that he made a mistake reclassifying early.

Still a head scratcher on why he was out there end of game when he had absolutely no confidence. Playing 4 on 5 will get you a loss pretty much every time.

Over eight Pac-12 games Kylan's median player efficiency rating is 0 (as in zero, nothing, nada). I am willing to wager that there is not another starting point guard in all of D1 basketball that is that low over their entire conference season to date.

2nd leading scorer with 14 and only 1 TO. The way he has been playing lately it was a very good game.

Would like to see his assist total be higher.

Spent a lot of time in the paint instead of the perimeter. No doubt on instruction from Lloyd.

Drive inside, that leaves Love open. Stay on the perimeter, Love gets covered.

We might look back at Tommy bitching him out as the turning point for Kylan. It's insane the way he's playing right now.

I guess the dealers, pit bosses, and casino security have not watched any Arizona games in the last two years.

If they did, they would know Kylan Boswell is only 18!

That is not Boswell. First there is no way he is away from the team with a quick flight to Tucson. Second you really think he wears that headband when he is not on the court or practice. You don't think Arizona has control over their players in Vegas? This is how guys reputation gets damaged.

No timestamp. You can be 18 to be at a casino in California as long as they don't serve alcohol such as Indian casinos.

It was definitely him, but as Merk said, no timestamp, no context. Could have been taken anywhere/anytime. It's been deleted - not sure if anyone saved it. Actually, Irish must have it LOL.

We just need Kylan to learn how to split any double teams, double down on driving to the basket, and stand on defense.
