Sometimes it's hard to believe Tommy has been a head coach for just three years.SCCats wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2024 12:20 pmHaha well, not last year. “The reality is that the hardest games to win are over teams on their home court. Teams that don’t play those games can spin it however they want, but what they’re saying is, ‘We don’t want to lose in our non conference season.’" - Sean Miller

Got too fancy. Play fundamentals and everything is good. Also remember ELEVATION. We always hear about the mountain trip being tougher on the 2nd game. Arizona is used to higher elevation and the better conditioned team. And Dayton's best guys barely rested

Really? Only 3? Do the play by play guys know that? Are they letting everyone know, repeatedly, over and over, again and again? I mean gosh all heck just think how good he'll be when he turns 4!

CTL post-game quote:
There were a few times that Arizona got into trouble with Dayton’s press in the second half, but Lloyd was adamant that the Wildcats relax.
“The first thing you do, I've got to tell my staff to relax,” Lloyd said. “They get pretty excited. You can play fast with great fundamentals and that's what we strive to do.At the end of the game, when you get that lead, you want to manage them.
“If you have the choice between humble and cocky, go with cocky. There's always time to be humble later, once you've been proven horrendously, irrevocably wrong.”
