Kind of late but maybe he needed to graduate first. Actually glad he didn't come to Arizona.

I had thought the transfer portal window had closed, and it did May 11, but reading the comments he is a grad transfer and will not have to sit out a year.

Comments are pretty brutal.

Probably one of the very few college players born in the 90's with eligibility left.

I get it that Quinerly's been around a long time, but I can't find any indication that Zion has retired. Injured a lot and under a cloud from sex scandals, but not retired.

Cripes. I can't mention "moron" on twitter, but doing a twitter search for "zion williamson" I get full spread pussy. Is twitter the new tumbler?

In any event, this headline is misleadling.

Had an offer from Arizona, although I imagine he wants to start at his next school. Can he beat out Lewis/Bradley to replace Love and Larsson?

I agree, the timing is really odd. Lloyd and 67 other coaches have other things to worry about right now.

Stanford better get a coach asap or they're going to lose half their team's scoring output for next year

Not sure how much NIL money the Arizona collectives have left, but doubt it's enough.

They can't work for NIL money, but can sell their images for shirts and so on.

Yep. After last year, I'm pretty confident that Tommy's going to do well with transfers again. What are our biggest roster needs for next season?

Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

Myles Rice from Wazzu entered. Is he going to be the best PG available?

Seems like their whole team is bailing - Rice, Jakimovski, Chinyelu. And of course their coach.

Great step-up - Wazzu to Stanford!!

Great step-up - Wazzu to Stanford!!
Stanford has taken two transfers in fifteen years and both were grad transfers. Not sure they are taking a kid from WSU.

Edit - Unless you meant the coach!

Maybe 1) openness to transfers in today's world, and/or, 2) the transfers he could bring were factors in his hiring.

Trust me, he'll be bringing transfers!!

Maybe he put in a call to Sean Miller. Xavier could use his help especially since he doesn't care about the NCAA tourney.

Why would it be "big"???

Bronny James was grossly over-hyped and crapped the bed as a frosh.

He got a slow start due to physical health, and showed some skills - but, yes, he was over-hyped.

My own concern would be the baggage that commes with him.

I doubt he (or his family) would even consider a "border town" (LA perception) like Tucson.

I expect he sticks near to LA, and allows access for his dad's schedule - UCLA?? Pepperdine? SDSU?

If Enfield believes, then he should be trying to get him to SMU
