Altman got to the FF in his 7th season at Oregon. That's about the average among coaches who reach the FF. Altman also got to the E8 the year prior. He had a really nice run after his five year mark there. Since then, it's been more middling.CalStateTempe wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2024 3:34 pm Altman got to a FF before miller.

I love that dunk! Stupid question here, did he travel on that one? I’ve looked it over many times but am not an expert at officiating….

I love that dunk too!
My favorite shot of it is the one from the baseline that posterizes the entire Duke team staring up in awe, their mouths agape, and their spirit gone, gone, gone.

So Kyle Filipowski’s family is accusing his much older Mormon girlfriend of grooming him as a minor and isolating him from them and his answers to NBA teams questions about it that it caused him to slip into the second round where he was taken by the Utah Jazz?
Yikes

Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Re: Duke
That is a strange story. I don't mind that there is a 6 year difference. But how it got to this point is crazy. Make you ditch your parents. Make you ditch your parents. That is deranged. I wonder if it is because they aren't Mormon? And, the fact that the Utah Jazz picked him up rises an eyebrow. So he is playing deep in Mormon country.

Some kind of weird menstrual thing happening with Duke. Maybe it's the Scheyer effect.

How is this even a story? Aren't cramping issues just a lack of staying hydrated?Beachcat97 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 1:26 pm https://www.espn.com/mens-college-baske ... ing-issues

Well hopefully he can figure that out after leaving Tucson.

It's guys not being in good enough shape and then overdoing it. That is on strength and training. Or on the guys themselves for not keeping up during the off-season then getting overworked during practice and overdoing it in a game.
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.
