2024 Los Angeles Rams

Post by Chicat »

Holy shit the Rams have a first round pick!

Holy shit… the Rams… have a… first round pick…

Not even sure what to do with that info besides making plans to tune into the first round of the draft for the first time in 8 years.

Would be cool if they took Jordan Morgan. Position of need with a bunch of teams ahead of them who also need OL so he may fall perfectly.

If there is a QB McVay covets and is still around wouldn’t be surprised if they grab a heir apparent to Stafford.

Reports coming out they are trying to move up into the top-10. Doubt it’s for a QB though unless they are looking to get into the top-5.

Love the Rams draft picks and I have to say I was worried because it’s been so long I thought they forgot how to do it.

I think they’ve done really well plugging holes. Corum gives them some great depth in between Williams and Rivers, and Kinchens hopefully is a lot like Kupp & Nakua in that what they do during games way outperforms how they did during the combine. Feels like he could be a steal.

I don’t know what the Rams are getting back from the Titans for Earnest Jones IV, but I can tell you right now it’s not enough.

I thought the defense would be solid this year. Now I’m not sure.

He missed spring workouts with a knee injury and he wanted a long term contract as he was in his last year of his rookie deal.

Got a 5th round pick. They are banking on some of the younger guys stepping up. We will see.

A pretty fucking uninspiring first half of football. Between the injuries and mistakes, I’m not real hopeful.

4 minutes left, Rams with the lead.

No idea how this game will end obviously but Sean McVay is coach of the year every year. The offensive line is being held together by scotch tape and they still marched right down the field. The play calling is exceptional.

Chi, that was an amazing effort from the Rams and especially Stafford. Some of those throws were unbelievable considering the pressure he was under the entire game. Not sure who the OL coach is but he deserves a medal for the patchwork job he did after all of the injuries.

Just needed 1 more first down to seal the win. The D was just too gassed at the end and just couldn’t stop the run.

Not a fan of moral victories, but that one I can accept.

Missing Kupp, Puka, Higbee, Williams (starting CB), JJ (starting safety), 3 starters on the o-line including the starting center and a bunch more.

There were third-string o-linemen getting their first playing time and the coaches were able to structure the offense to where they didn’t expose them for too long. The Bears should take note.

On my way to see ECC’s favorite team hopefully kick the crap out of the Bears wearing my Aaron Donald jersey (the Dickerson one lost in a coin flip). The tailgate is bound to be LIT.

Missed Puka, Kupp, and Higbee in the red zone. 5 scoring plays on six deep drives is pretty good. If it was 3 TDs and 2 FGs instead of 1 & 5, we win going away.

Not sure how much younger we can get. We already have the second youngest team in the league.

But if you are saying let’s start stockpiling draft picks through trades to re-build this team I’m with you.

Hopefully all that trade talk (which I was right at the forefront of) can go away now. If they can fix the linebackers somehow the defense will keep us in games, and the offense should thrive if everyone is healthy. Could definitely see a 10-7 type season with the schedule they have the rest of the way.

Looked much more like the team I thought we had tonight beating a pretty good Vikings team.

Offense coming around with Kupp and Nacua back, and they will be even better when a couple of OL starters return. Defense is getting there. Didn’t realize they gave up less than 300 yards last night.

Especially the first one that looked like he was throwing it right to the defensive back but he led his receiver perfectly.

And how about the D with a monumental fourth down stop in the red zone when it looked like Seattle was going to win it.

They won in all three phases. Secondary is looking much better, d-line is going to be a problem for opponents for years to come, special teams was on point including a back-up punter who was just signed this week to replace our regular punter who was sick and had to also be the holder on 4 kicks, and they won without Puka. Him getting thrown out could have seriously killed the passing game but DRob stepped up as did Tutu and Tyler Johnson.

We are so fucking back.

Why is it that when the Rams want to trade for a guy they’re like “Here! Take all of our top picks!” but when they have someone to trade they’re like “Do you want our Pro-Bowl player? You can have him for a seventh rounder… and we’ll send you a pick in return too!”???
