If Lowe had landed Kilfoyl this team would be a national title contender, but alas, she has been completely unable to land an ace pitcher of any kind.

Candrea couldn't recruit one towards the end either. Who was our last real ace pitcher? I'm thinking Kenzie before the umps started calling illegal pitches on her.

I would say Danielle O'Toole. She was not a high school recruit but a transfer. She had a really great senior year. It's sad that her career ended in the Super Regionals at home against Baylor. She was so spent in that game I was surprised Candrea brought her back in to pitch that last inning after he had already pulled her earlier.

I never liked Mike White when he was at Oregon. He was wrong when he said he waved former UofA player Bella Dayton home. Pointing at the base is not the same as doing a windmill with your arm, which indicates to run run.

I don’t understand how TX is number 1. Their situational awareness has been crap in game 2.
