More on the sad nonsense of what sounds like about the most embittered divorce aftermath ever, from Page Six – Shiloh publishes newspaper announcement to drop dad Brad Pitt’s last name:CatsbyAZ wrote: ↑Wed Jun 12, 2024 8:47 am...to the point his grown children are legally filing to drop Pitt's last name? "Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter Shiloh reportedly paid for her own lawyer when she filed to drop her father’s last name. The talented dancer, who filed the request on her 18th birthday late last month, is seeking to change her name from “Shiloh Jolie-Pitt” to “Shiloh Jolie.”CatsbyAZ wrote: ↑Wed Oct 05, 2022 6:53 pm Is it a surprise Brad Pitt turns out to be enemy #1 amongst his own family, to the point his adult children won’t speak to him? Pitt’s carefully curated public image sure went a long way in granting him the benefit of the doubt against years of rumors that are now confirmed.
“The 18-year-old recently published a notice in the Los Angeles Times to announce that she was dropping “Pitt” from her surname. According to California law, a person is required to publish a request in the notices section of a newspaper that is in general circulation. Shiloh filed the petition on her 18th birthday in May, insinuating that she doesn’t want to be associated with her famous father amid his brutal divorce battle…”
“However, Pitt insiders question who was really behind the significant move: “Reasonable people should draw their own conclusions as to who was actually behind it. He’s never felt more joy than when she was born. He always wanted a daughter. The reminders that he’s lost his children, is of course not easy for Brad. He loves his children and misses them. It’s very sad. In fact, the former couple’s other kids also have dropped his moniker in public settings.”
“It’s extremely upsetting,” a Pitt source admitted to Page Six in June of all the name changes, claiming, “She has used the kids as a weapon against Brad … she has separated them from him. There is a whole pattern: Any time he has a win in court, she hits back with something to do with the kids. The “Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood” star has been embroiled in a custody battle with Jolie since their 2016 split, and the situation has become exponentially more bitter over the years.”

"a Pitt source admitted".
Maybe if Brad came out himself and said so and actively tried to contact them. I trust celebrity sources as much as I do presidential ones.

Re: Bad Celebrity Behavior Thread
Curious as to what these rumors are? I thought Pitt divorced Anniston because he wanted kids and longed to be a father?

The filing includes the claim: “While Pitt’s history of physical abuse of Jolie started well before the family’s September 2016 plane trip from France to Los Angeles, this flight marked the first time he turned his physical abuse on the children as well. Jolie then immediately left him.”
Re: Bad Celebrity Behavior Thread
Wow. Thanks Merk. Never had heard that and that is very serious.

If Sean "Diddy" Combs gets arrested 2 more times, he would be tied with the leader of the Republican party.

No idea why Diddy didn't flee to a country that had no extradition treaty with the US. Unless he truly believes he is innocent.

Re: Bad Celebrity Behavior Thread
Diddy is definitely looking for a wire.
Re: Bad Celebrity Behavior Thread
Diddy's federal charges include: Racketeering conspiracy, kidnapping, arson, bribery, forced labor, facilitation of prostitution, sex trafficking, and distribution of narcotics.
Wow, that is quite the federal indictment to be facing. A lot of those charges, if leading to conviction, fall under mandatory federal sentencing guidelines. Further charges are expected for weapons possession - rifles with defaced serial numbers were seized during raids of his estate.
This week a New York judge twice denied bail to Sean Combs; he will remain locked up at Metropolitan Detention Center, Brooklyn, a facility used mainly for housing inmates awaiting federal trials. Speaking of trials, this looks like the type of case that will go to a lengthy trial.

He should have been locked up for years for the lengths he went to in order to exploit Biggie both before and after his death. Could have saved a lot of these victims from his predations.

From Hollywood Reporter—
"Grammy Award-winning rapper Lil Durk has been arrested in Florida on federal charges that he paid for the attempted 2022 revenge killing of rapper Quando Rondo at a Los Angeles gas station, a shooting that resulted in the death of Rondo’s cousin."
"...the shooting stems from the November 2020 slaying of OTF rapper King Von, 26, at an Atlanta nightclub after Von and Rondo got into a fight. Records say a friend of Rondo’s pulled a gun and shot Von several times, killing him. Authorities say Durk made it known that he would “pay a bounty” to anyone who killed Rondo. Almost two years later, a murder plot quickly came together."

Durk was trying to flee the country and told his buddy to buy him a plane ticket but not to attach it to him in any way.
His dumbass friend bought the plane ticket with Durk’s credit card and that’s how they caught him.

More PoS-ery from our Hollywood heroes - Blake Lively suing co-star Justin Baldoni over persistent, on-set sexual harassment.
From the Cut—
"Lively’s legal complaint paints an alarming picture of Baldoni’s alleged behavior during It Ends With Us’ filming. She accuses him of sexual harassment, including improvising unwanted kissing and looking at her while she was topless having her body makeup removed after she asked him to look away. She claims he discussed his sex life, including encounters he said may not have been consensual, and showed her a naked video of his wife. Lively also wrote that both Baldoni and Heath repeatedly entered her makeup trailer uninvited while she was undressed, including while she was breastfeeding."
Where this story gets even more out of hand and raises it above the typical headlines of celebrity male misbehavior is in the backdrop. Baldoni harassed her on the set of a movie about domestic abuse. Obviously Lively did not take this well. In turn Baldoni did not take it well that Lively did not take it well. His next step was to corral the powers of his PR team to (allegedly) hijack the press tour of their movie to smear Blake Lively's reputation.
His efforts must have worked, because I only know about and remember this movie because of how much its press tour played out as a mess in the headlines. Lively's lawsuit alleges: "the media environment around Lively’s name was being manipulated and found that she had been the subject of a targeted, multichannel online attack.” All during the film's press tour which was not an optimal time to defend herself. Meanwhile, giving the film's themes of domestic abuse, Baldoni spent the press tour vocally sympathizing with women who suffer domestic abuse.

If they’ll abuse someone who is one half of one of the biggest power couples in Hollywood, imagine what they do to no-name actresses who have zero power.

Maybe it's just me being a boomer, but I have no idea who those people are and would not recognize them if they passed me on the street.
If someone on the street showed me their images, I would have gone: Is that dude Luigi?

Remember watching Home Improvement back in the 90s? Kinda wondered how the Tool Man Taylor’s three boys would turn out.
After Home Improvement ended in 1999 the youngest, Mark married a 33 year old at 17 and now builds houses in the Philippines and is an instructor for navigating submarines. The middle, Randy, entirely disappeared from public view for the past decade, and was unrecognizable when tabloid cameras caught him walking his dogs and vaping in LA a few years ago.
Then there’s the oldest, Brad, now 43, who over the past weekend was arrested and charged for the FOURTH time in his FOURTH different state for domestic abuse. He “punched her multiple times in the face” and “choked the woman with his arm around her neck, the warrant states.”
Also, Brad “was arrested twice in 2024 for DUI. The first happened in February in La Quinta, California, while the second was in October in Custer County, Oklahoma.”

Since when is Zachery Ty Bryan a "star" of Home alone? Appearing for 8 minutes doesn't make one a "star" of anything.

In any event, a long history of DV.
