I guess they changed their mind about Duke and Houston being available via a mini plan as well, because the email says you can only get them with season tickets. That blows because you know places like SeatGeek will charge through the nose.

The game is in Lawrence...

... three days before the Big-12 Tournament in KC.
That’s a favor to us. No need to travel anywhere on a tight turnaround.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

The issue is that Fox and ESPN share the basketball rights, so they have to pick and choose what games they want. Negotiations take time. If only ESPN owned the rights this would've been done long ago.
True. Trying to get on without Learfield is causing problems as well. I still can’t get a good read on what the season ticket increase (roughly 30%), the increase in capital campaign contribution (A section now $100,000), and the move to the B12 has done to ticket demand. But the season is approaching and I know several season ticket holders who still haven’t had their seat exchanges processed and are being ghosted by their Arizona ticket reps. I dont believe this but was told the AD is 2 more people resigning from being bought out/fired.

Sounds like they shouldn't bother if they're just going to use Ticketmaster.

Couldn’t sell tickets. Possibly partially because historically R-B tix in tucson are what $10? Allegedly they were trying to get $200 for good seats in PHX. I am partial to Learfield ftr but this smells like a New Kids On The Block jackup.

I live in the Phoenix area and looked and it was like $130 for two tickets after all the fees.

Fuck Ticketmaster

It could not possibly be more obvious who here is always insulted, always offended, always accusatory, utterly without dignity, always the smallest of men.

$200 (or even $130) for tickets to an intra-squad scrimmage is wild.

Sounds like the event may be a political one.

That aside, if Arizona sold the place out what is the likelihood they could be bought out?

Reason for the switch feels like gloss to me.

Yeah I've heard some things about the AD as well. I won't go as far as you are here, but she's definitely ruffling more than feathers to this point.

I think she has a clear mandate to close the gap on the funding issue the university faces. I doubt her job is in any jeopardy.

Especially since the UA paid Mizzou $1.5M for her buyout, and she has a 5 year contract. UA AD will have a $33.6 million deficit in FY24 per EY.

I don't know anything, nor have any contacts, but her job sure looks safe.

People actually print things out?

Times are good for west coasters once DST ends. But it's always about me.

Guess they didn't learn anything from the stripe out failure last weekend.

Just make every game a red-out.
