Merkin? He is pretty negative about the University’s precarious situation and rightly so. In his defense, even on fan sites, it’s ok to offer different perspectives. Media are the Homers who tell you what you want to hear. Merkin gives a dual version. Reality vs fan perspective. It’s actually a bit refreshing and part of the reason I came to this board.

If the timeline is correct, this guy never played for ASU, and I doubt he even attended a practice.

He was at New Mexico, entered the portal, committed to ASU on Dec 16, then re-entered the portal on Dec 17 (apparently got no bites), then entered the portal again in March and committed to UA.

Something odd going on there, but I hope he's found a successful landing spot.

Yet Brennan puts a walk on out in Cole Tannebaum there who wasn't ranked anywhere. Believe the scrub QB from SJSU even went in v. ASU for a play.

Contrast that to former UA commit Demond Williams Jr who was 19th QB in the nation and the 4th rated player in AZ and a starter for UDub.

Did he think any impact players might leave? Biggest thing on the incoming guys is who our coordinators are and how we upgrade those position coaches. CBB could look a lot better if he had some top flight position coaches. I saw very little development this year at most positions
