Why are we like this?
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Playing too timidly on offense. The basketball version of prevent defense

The UA offense has stalled. They are throwing the ball around the perimeter and making desperate plays as the shot clock winds down. Playing not to lose. Intensity is gone.

D isn't terrible, just sloppy turnovers and failing to play the offense that got us that lead

Clearly we still have a lot of work to do...

I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that Texas Tech is going to throw a 1-3-1 zone at us this Saturday

Awful second half. We couldn't adjust to Baylor's adjustments at all.

Tommy only had a few days after last game, but it was clear the team got the message. Hopefully with more time until the next game he can continue whatever they were doing and we can be more consistent in the 2nd half.

I thought we’d be lucky to be .500 in conference. To be 5-0 at this point is amazing.

I liked that the Cats calmed down at the end. Yet, this game should not have been this close.

And a perfect ending to the night. Cats beat a ranked team to stay undefeated in B12 play while the Sun Gerbils lose at home to UCF by 6

Guys Baylor played terrible in the first half. We really nailed down our free throw shooting late as compared to the first half. Tobe showing some vast improvement at the line.

Baylor is a very good team. We turned down the D intensity early in the 2nd half and let them get comfortable. But we knew all we needed was to run time, hit our FTs, and have one, good defensive stand to win. And that's just what we did.

Losing focus with big leads has been a problem this year. Something we need to work on.
