Do we have the easiest big 12 schedule?
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

I'm not.

If Houston loses we are tied for the lead in Big 12

In league play, Houston is 7-0 while KU is 5-2. So maybe we want KU to win so we would be in a 3 way tie for 1st
I might hate Kansas more than I want to be in a 3way tie for first. 😁

Also if Houston wins, we have a 2 game lead on the jayclucks!!!

That's a bonus.

So either we are in a 3way tie for 1st or Kansas is in a 3 way tie for 5th.

Both are fine with me, maybe this game will go to 6 OTs and they'll all be cramping in 2 days when they play their next games and both lose! That the best scenario, or they have a big brawl and a bunch of guys get suspended.

I can dream.

3:30 pacific/4:30 Tucson, actually.

Hope Kansas is more prepared than they were for ISU.
Late in the second with KU up by 4. Have no idea who will win but I will tell you Houston plays 7 guys that look like men not college students. They are pretty relentless on the boards. KU has found something with there big to big play down the stretch.

Too bad Fuegs wouldn’t show after that crap show. That last 90 seconds of regulation was a clinic on how to wrestle a loss from a victory. 4 straight possessions they gargled it up one way or the other in regulation

And Self, can’t draw up an inbound play to get anyone the ball in a sure fire fouling situation. Pathetic

The only reason that game was as close as it was is because Houston's best outside shooter (does the guy ever miss) was out with injury in the first half. Came back in the second and played well. Kansas lost that game but it is rare to say that Houston also won it. We do not match up well with Houston and they are currently under ranked IMHO.

I don’t see Houston as a particularly winnable game for us even at McKale. They have a mental toughness we have yet to exhibit.

How does everyone feel about the Saturday/Monday-Tuesday conference schedule as opposed to Thursday/Saturday-Sunday of the PAC?

I miss the PAC schedule but there were some Wednesdays mixed in there as well. I remember UW/WSU once had a Wednesday-Sunday LA trip which was ridiculous.

I have not enjoyed this new schedule at all. Have enjoyed ESPIN+ though. Game always starts in time

… up until tonight. We were the toughest we have been in two years even before Caleb’s buzzer-beater. And OT sealed the deal.

They proved me wrong. I think we can play with Houston.

Stanford under Dawkins upset Kansas in the tournament a few years ago, right? I know UCF came up a little short tonight, but Dawkins seems to have some good formula when playing them. Think he'd share with Tommy?

You guys are smarter than me watching BYU vs. Baylor. The ASU/Colorado game was pure trash.

Confused if Tad actually wanted them to keep shooting 3s? You really could've gone for the quick two with over 30 seconds left. Then ASU makes some stupid plays, but Colorado just wasn't good enough to capitalize. Certainly Tad's worst team since I've started watching them back when they joined the Pac 12.

So Colorado is now 0-9 to start Big 12 play. Curious what the longest losing streak to start Big 12 play is.

For final hilarity, when ASU missed a free throw at the end of the game, the Colorado student section did that dumb "You let the whole team down" chant. You really want to break that out with how shitty your team is?

Houston/WVU was literally over at tip. I feel like we need to play a near perfect game to have a chance of beating them.
