Honestly we kept it closer than I thought we would considering Houston had an easy win last night.

This is it. Can’t be upset with our results but man I can’t believe ADO and TT are on this roster. They can’t guard, not tough and get lost a lot.

Win two next week and I will be very happy. Just avoid the upset in the first round please

In the 2nd half, Houston outscored us 15-5 on points off turnovers.

Turning point to me was two bad plays in a row down the stretch where Jaden and KJ took back to back 3's and then we were playing catch up. This was also probably CB's worst game defensively. Houston scored at least 4 three pointers on his defense. Learning curve. We also could never really establish a inside game.
You can see how much Houston was hurt with their big man out. We would have never been able to hedge like we did with him in the game.

Proud of the effort. Really wanted this one.

I think TT plays very hard and gives his all, regardless of his limitations…..and I appreciate him for that

As noted in Lev's article, the Cats were stymied on offense in the final 5 minutes...

... not at all surprising when ADO and TT only get 13 minutes PT, combined. I understand that ADO's defensive liabilities limited him, and TT wasn't effective, especially with penetration. Had to limit both!!

Essentially we played a team that cruised to two prior victories while we competed hard in both of ours. We played a six-man rotation vs their (functionally) seven man rotation. They had a key starter on the bench.

Honestly, there aren't many teams that expose both of these guys like Houston (a great team - no dispute!!) - Duke, did. But, as always, the NCAA's are MOSTLY about match-ups, and, overall, I think were well situated
