Its so funny and she just did a Becky Burke video as she became AZ head coach. All of her videos are in good fun... except maybe the Kim Mulkey piece... which is equally great!

So DRF has now two hires, the golf coach (women’s) and Coach Burke. I think she homered with the golf coach and I like what I hear from our new coach. Question for us all is, what are your expectations for the program and how long do you give her to get there?

For me, I want to see a team that is well coached and competitive even as early as next year. I see no reason with our fan support that we shouldn’t be top 4 in the conference year in and year out by her third year.

If she gets 2% of the 20.5m pie, that’s a decent number to recruit well enough to accomplish multiple tournament appearances. This year will be tough since she doesn’t have that money but she gets gets a pass other than looking like a well coached team

I watched the press conference and some interesting facts came out after about the 3rd question on NIL. Our AD stated we had the largest pool of money for assistant coaches in the big 12 and we're in the top third for NIL money/resources. The coach would not address it but stated she would not be her if she didn't feel she had the resources to win.

This is pretty much how I feel too. If we're going nowhere by year 5 we should probably move on, but I have a good feeling about her and I think she can get us back to the tournament before then.
