Been waiting 10 years to see TJ inducted and they pick the time i'll be out of the country to do it... sigh.

At least they'll upload highlights of it.

As happy as I am for RJ, it was so damn good when he did one of our games. Wish that could somehow happen again.

AAron Gordon has maximized his god given ability to develop into a all around basketball player. This guy would make you cringe every time he got to the foul line. He was terrible. Forget any outside shot more than 10 feet. He could always defend, rebound and dunk but the rest of his game is all on him. I am so proud of his development. The other thing to remember is that just before that final 3 he hit two free throws in the most pressure packed environment or that shot would have been meaningless.

Aaron Gordon built a home in a warehouse where he also built a basketball court and full gym with in-ground hot and cold tubs, sauna, etc. The man literally lives at the gym and it has paid off in amazing ways. His dedication is off the charts.

Just looked it up. Aaron Gordon was a 42% ft shooter in college. That guy understands that he has a real job and that is developing his game.
https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/pl ... don-1.html

This year he is a 43% shooter from 3 in the NBA.

As a college icon Wilbur is woefully under-recognized.

It’s easy to be cynical about the human side of sports these days, where everyone is a brand and it’s difficult to know what to believe. The dynamics that influence the impunity of the rich and powerful in America extend to sports, and the lack of loyalty expressed by the owners of the teams we love is returned in kind by players who know that they will become disposable as soon as a billionaire deems them so. Especially in the NBA when seemingly half the league always has an eye on their next destination
