I'd generally agree, although he seemed to give SDSU some kind of a post presence in this game, despite still looking lost at times. His team immediately squandered a five point lead after he went down. Chol was still far from good but rather blended in with his team's awful offensive performance. However, his transfer made sense because he'd ride the far end of the pine had he stayed at Arizona.
SDSU simply has no offense. They looked mind-bogglingly helpless and unimaginative, especially in OT. The team lacks a PG to run the show, even defensively. When Cincinnati took the lead in OT, SDSU's defense was unable to put pressure on their opponent's offense in order to force turnovers. Really makes one appreciate the kind of defenders we've got in TJ, Rondae and BA. We way our offense started clicking recently, we'd pound SDSU's behinds into oblivion. No way they could keep it as close as they did three weeks ago.
i remember chol being a pretty good shot blocker in the scant minutes he played at arizona, but even that stat isn't there (yet) now that he's getting time on the floor at sdsu. the aztecs played a decent nonconf schedule - we'll see how his numbers look once mw play begins

Michigan State/Maryland might have been the worst college basketball game I've ever seen. Just fucking ugly.

Anyone catch ND take down UNC? Entertaining game, big win for the Irish.

Yes, UNC has a lot of talent. what? they are young? UNC looks soft not as skilled as ND. Roy looking fairly peppy and healthy on the sidelines. Let the chorus ring...how much longer is he there. Can't imagine past two more. Won't take long to be back to Conference Champs., Elite 8's, and Final Fours if they make a good hire. Brad Stevens to UNC instead of Indiana? Nothing would shock me anymore. But I can't imagine Creen keeps his job after this season. Gonna be really interesting.

And last night I caught some of the Iowa State - Oklahoma State game played in Ames.
What's the lovefest for Fred Hoiberg? The announcers went on and on. Granted he's preliminarily a perfect hire for the Cyclones - a loyal hometown guy, young, had the Cyclones in the Sweet 16 last year, but they yammer about him like he's already won 800 games.

Gonna drink and watch North Carolina St vs Virginia right on now. 11 degrees out; too cold for anything else. Maybe Colorado Utah later.

We are going to find out if Notre Dame is for real today against Virginia. Last year the Cavs took it to the Irish twice so revenge is probably on their mind.

Kentucky goes to overtime again. Can they pull this one out as well?
Neither team can shoot coming down the stretch here.

You could say the same for UK.

If either of these teams is shooting 40% I would be shocked.

UK 15/59
A&M 21/60
Putrid. Just texted my bud who is a UK fan. He's beyond pissed no matter the outcome.

I don't see aTm surviving a second overtime. Nice last play there.

Well Kentucky looked beatable this past week. I guess it's because they were not playing Kansas

Only a matter of time before Kentucky goes down. Just won't be today.
At least we aren't as putrid from the line as A&M. Wow what an awful free throw shooting team.

Probably because he knew they were going to storm the court.

Where will this put us in the polls IF we win tonight? Louisville lost as well.
Also only saw the last 1:30 garbage time but where was Winslow? Didn't even see him on the bench. Duke will be exposed again. Not enough experience, too young, not enough toughness ie tough D.

I would think 5. I doubt we'll jump Gonzaga unless they lose.

He fouled out a a bit before that.

The lack of a marquee win should drop Arizona out of the top 10 this week, best case, with a win 10, with a loss tonight, 12.

So even though two teams ahead of us lost, we will drop at least two spots with a conference road win? You really know nothing about basketball.
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.
