RHJ, please make throws
It's long past time to bring this back to the court, let's do it with a small update:

Blow right by Stanley.
Re: Game 16, at Oregon St.
This kind of effort doesn't deserve to win in regulation.

Meh. Oh well.

Wow...just lost to a really bad OSU team. Both losses this year are very concerning

Re: Game 16, at Oregon St.
Sweet 16 ceiling.
Re: Game 16, at Oregon St.
So bad. I really question Miller's decision to go small at the end. Two plays where guys drove right into the lane...
Re: Game 16, at Oregon St.
Stanley got absolutely blown by for the winning basket. Pathetic
Re: Game 16, at Oregon St.
This loss really isn't a big deal guys.

Why the hell are York and Pitts on the court at the same time under a min left down 1 when you NEED A STOP?!
They are not great defenders!!

This game may have very well cost us a chance at the pac 12 title too.

I think taking the Bigs out was a mistake.84Cat wrote:No Zeus means open lanes to the bucket

Re: Game 16, at Oregon St.
We really need to start tempering expectations for this team.
Re: Game 16, at Oregon St.
I'm not. After all the upsets today I don't think this loss is a big deal.billk78 wrote:Cant tell if you're being sarcastic.AZCatGirl wrote:This loss really isn't a big deal guys.

Re: Game 16, at Oregon St.
Unfrackingbelievable, truly. Especially the way it happened, with ntOSU's second-half shooting and actually allowing them final-possession heroics.PieceOfMeat wrote:58-56 cats lose.
Have to hand it to this team: It really knows how to lay down to an opponent. Way to respond to a challenge for two lousy games.
You guys suck and are pretenders right now, plain and simple.
Re: Game 16, at Oregon St.
Yes, 1 seed in the west is probably gone now to Gonzaga.
Re: Game 16, at Oregon St.
Big mistake. Two huge buckets from them down the stretch were from guys driving right into the lane with no big man there to contest. I don't get it.77HoyaCat4Ever wrote:I think taking the Bigs out was a mistake.84Cat wrote:No Zeus means open lanes to the bucket

This loss is indicative of the various flaws that this team has and will put a serious damper on many people's expectations.AZCatGirl wrote:This loss really isn't a big deal guys.

It was a road game in January. No need to think this changes things in March.PieceOfMeat wrote:This loss is indicative of the various flaws that this team has and will put a serious damper on many people's expectations.AZCatGirl wrote:This loss really isn't a big deal guys.

Re: Game 16, at Oregon St.
And I disagree--this loss is a HUGE deal.
Calls a lot of things into question just two games after the UNLV laydown.
I actually believed this team was on a roll, but instead it turned a performance that is one of the most shameful in the history of the program.

Re: Game 16, at Oregon St.
Well put. While it probably doesn't kill us in the standings right now it does expose glaring weaknesses. This team isn't as good as we expected. Pure and simple. Now maybe Stanley can get better. Maybe RHJ can take charge more on offense. Maybe an outside shooter can step up. But those are some big maybes...PieceOfMeat wrote:This loss is indicative of the various flaws that this team has and will put a serious damper on many people's expectations.AZCatGirl wrote:This loss really isn't a big deal guys.
Re: Game 16, at Oregon St.
We're not winning the conference or going anywhere in the tournament this year. Just pathetic.
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.
i'll just go with fuck asu.

The way we are playing a mid major would feast on us in the opening round.

It is up there. The players and coaches should be utterly embarrassed by this.catgrad97 wrote:And I disagree--this loss is a HUGE deal.

And when we lose in the elite 8, or maybe even before that round, you will be able to point back at games like this one and unlv and demonstrate how our glaring weaknesses were present all year.AZCatGirl wrote:It was a road game in January.
