NBA teams have "home team" broadcasters, this is not the case in CBB outside of radio. I doubt it.

We don't have a go to shooter or go to scorer

SJ can't play defense consistently; either gets beat or gets a steal (or fouls)

We don't play well against zones

Our offense is sluggish, especially against zones

We can't exploit our height advantage (why go small - play our massive front line, have TJ penetrate and dish rather than settle for threes)

Played their game, against an inferior opponent, and lost

I'd have a stiff drink but I'm on call, so no solace tonight

Nah, that's just a really bad loss to a really bad team. They shot over 50 pct and it wasn't like they were chucking prayers. This team is not playing great basketball right now

This is probably the most concerning, it seems like the Cats never have seen a zone before. Just about every team from here on out and especially in the NCAA is going to play zone.

On paper we got killed in this game.

They shot 51% from the field, 46% from 3, and 77% FT

We shot 37.8% from the field, 24% from 3, 67% FT, and got outrebounded

5 TO's is good

Lost by 2...I think we win that game 9/10 times but a lot of things went right for them tonight. Can't let a team shoot that high of a % and can't shoot 24% from 3

I have to wonder if the team got a little over confident after Oregon. Shots aren't always going to fall so easily, and the best starting 5 doesn't always mean a blowout in the first 5 minutes.

Think since the Cats beat Gonzaga they can still lose one more game assuming Gonzaga runs the table in their conference to get the one seed in the West and maybe three more to get the two seed in the west.

Now this loss sucked but it seems to have been a bad night all around given the solid performances since UNLV minus last night. Just means there is much less room for error to get in the West bracket and the Utah games are now much more important to impress voters and the selection committee.
