Re: ASU back to ADIDAS!
So do all those Cooool
Uniforms they have go into the dumpster next year. Does this mean the new design is copy righted and can't be used by Adidas? I have no idea how these things work, but it sure seams that Nike has put a lot of money into their new image the past three years and not all things may be able to transfer.

That would be classic. Back to Spanky and no more spork.
Re: ASU back to ADIDAS!
Can they keep the new creepy molester sparky mascot?
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

I look forward to mocking their uniform choices as I do UCLA, Baylor, etc - the basketball uniforms Adidas puts out are hideous, football only slightly less so. As if ASU basketball needed an extra clownish element.

As an employee of the mighty swoosh, I can assure you ASU owns their logo's. And believe it or not, Nike has not invested all that much money in ASU. ASU pays for the branding efforts by Nike. Adidas has been trying to get back in CFB, spending lots of money to suit up more schools each year. If ASU switches to Adidas its simply a numbers game, meaning Adidas was willing to spend more than Nike for the ASU account. I hope they are getting paid a lot, because Adidas designs don't hold a candle to Nike, imo.MountainCat wrote:So do all those Cooool![]()

No, luckily Uncle McFeely the Bumble-bee was a Disney thing. He'll be back to haunt your children's dreams.
I wonder if the sparky helmet was a message to NIKE, their counter-offer was to be due later that day.
They must have invested something to be given exclusive rights to the logo for 12 months.Scummy Dick Douglas wrote:As an employee of the mighty swoosh, I can assure you ASU owns their logo's. ASU is in good position with his son (4* WR), though I tend to think he will still commit to USC when its all said and done.3goggles wrote:http://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/h ... /20486031/

IDK. The numbers look like mustard. It might just be a metallic-mustard color thing.3goggles wrote:It should copperPuerco wrote:What's with the gold helmet stripe?

Urine with a bit of iron mixed in.

Re: ASU back to ADIDAS!
Nike is now refusing to produce ASU merchandise.

Obviously Adidas was always going to step into the primary spot for retailers, but now one of the world's largest apparel companies won't even offer fans an alternative.
