So there's a good chance Arizona could end up with 4,10,12 and 23?

How did we not recruit LuWane Pipkins? Talk about a name you can get behind.

If we put together the 5 man class that's discussed here, it is yet another sign that Miller is a warlock.

I'd still be interested what you think the future holds with Rabb.

When is Trier coming for a visit?
Why has Arizona never been able to gain any serious traction with Zimmerman exactly?

ive never told you this before but i do a friday night special (have for yrs) on a random friday where i chat about anything Arizona Basketball.
i just posted a 591 word butte -- about to drop a copenhagen here and get serious in a bit........here is what i said on Rabb
Ivan Rabb = Arizona is doing as well or better than any other school – some things are worth the wait, this is one of them

Re: let's talk '15
Thanks for that. I have a fixation on Rabb to some extent b/c he's the difference between a nice class and a stellar class for me. I posted a comparison to KG back at goazcats, and I do see that type of potential. There are certain guys you'd look to that really bring a class together into something special. Rabb is that in '15 here.97cats wrote:buster, just for the record i had absolutely nothing wrong with what you said -- and as for my life, its being spent tonight on another site having a no holds barred discussion about anything and everything Arizona Basketball.Spaceman Spiff wrote:

Not that I'd be unhappy with the rest. We have some really talented kids on the way, but I see Rabb as the heir to the NJ/AG(RHJ)/SJ bloodline in terms of being a special talent that ties the rest together.

Re: let's talk '15
I always assumed Rabb was coming because Miller made him the #1 priority. I always assumed Smith was coming because 97 says AZ is where it wants to be. I've started to wonder about Commanche because people aren't talking about him as much, which worries me because I really, really, really like what I see in that kid's game. Tons of room to grow and could be a super skilled center. I want, I want, I want.
Now I know this is the '15 thread but we don't have a '16 and it's been a while since you've professed your affinity for Thornton. Is he still a big UofA fan? Who else should we pay attention to for that class?
Thanks as always for the juice, 97.

I'm gonna go ahead and assume that we're not a serious option for Briscoe. Haven't heard a word to suggest otherwise from 97.

Re: let's talk '15
Arizona may not be where it wants to be with Comanche yet, but they're definitely in a good spot. People aren't talking about him much because his recruitment is very quiet and he plays on a smaller AAU circuit (the Underarmour circuit).thenewazcats wrote:I always assumed Rabb was coming because Miller made him the #1 priority. Re: let's talk '15
Thanks for that, Gato. I don't want to say I want one guy more than another because every target in the class looks great but I would be really disappointed if we lose out on Commanche. Spaceman/Pooh, I don't think he and Ristic are the same guy. Commanche looks like a better athlete with much greater defensive potential, but I say that only having seen the Ristic highlight video someone posted on TOS. I'm not a Ristic fan... yet.

I'm very much on board with you in regards to Comanche. Very high ceiling and great prospect. You'll definitely get more out of him after his freshman year and when someone like Chris Rounds gets his hands on him. Btw he was recently quoted as saying that Arizona & NC State are the two schools on him the hardest and he's probably coming for a visit here in September.thenewazcats wrote:Thanks for that, Gato. Re: let's talk '15
NY Post ran a story on Briscoe yesterday as so many local schools are after him. His father said they have a pretty good feel with all of the coaches (and Miller's relationship during the U18 was a plus) and now it's about selecting the school/location that he feels most comfortable with.
How could it not be Tucson?

Erlich Bachmann: Richard wrote the code, yes, but the inspiration was clear. Let me ask you something. How fast do you think you could jack off every guy in this room? Cause I know how long it would take me. And I could prove it.

Outstanding commit. Hope for a speedy rehab.
Recovery time for a torn ACL ranges from four to eight months. Smith’s father said surgery would be done “as soon as possible” once they get back to Las Vegas.
