Christian Welp, RIP

Died of a heart attack. He was 51. Played with Detlef Shrempf at UW. Conference POY in 1986. Up and coming Wildcats had some good games against those German Huskies . Welp is still the school's leading scorer.

Welp-Schrempf-Shag Williams-Eldridge Recasner-Al Moscatel was a formidable lineup in its day. RIP.
