Rubbish.
Zags score a bucket more per game. Did he have another crash?

Lol, gumby. I initially had a similar comment that I removed, since it wouldn't be professional of me to state.

We have to win the Pac 12 tournament or we will be shipped out.

Only losing to Cal today would create that possibility. But hopefully this wont be in the discussion. HTH, SOS, and RPI all favour the Cats. Plus, while not great, if BYU doesnt get in, then the WCC was a 1 bid conference while the Pac is 3.

I just don't see it. Would make no sense
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.
If we lose today, we get shipped out. That would be three losses to teams hovering around #100 in the RPI and one that's #130. That's not great and would be hard to justify geographical preference over a team with only two losses, both to tourney teams.
But we're not losing today.

Duke with 4 losses and one real bad one at home to Miami is definitely a candidate for a two seed.
I also think that with both Duke and UVA losing Kansas could find themselves a three seed if they lose tomorrow.

Utah beats the shit out of inferior teams but is a completely different team when you get a tough squad in front of them. Their fall isn't helping our quest for a one seed. Oh well keep winning
Virginia still being a 1 seed is a complete joke. No way in hell that happens.
And even though it's Oregon and not Utah, it's ridiculous for us to still be a 2 seed if we win tomorrow.

Goddamn it, now Lunardi says we're a 2 seed out East with Villanova? What the hell? How come we're getting less and less-favorable brackets the more that we win?

Wow, what? Not enough style points for Lunardi I guess. Win tomorrow and we're not getting shipped out. Even if we lose I can't imagine it.

"Of course, Wisconsin isn't done yet. And neither is Villanova. I'm not convinced Arizona can climb to the top line because their collection of losses is clearly the worst, and they also have the fewest quality wins. The Wildcats have been hurt by the relative lack of quality of their league."

This is true. None of them even speak TO the committee. That's why their brackets don't match each other's and never match how the committee actually seeds. It's just their personal opinion.

The ACC conference tournament losses just aren't that big. We beat two non-tourney teams. UNC and ND are ranked. We are hurt by our conference and those bad losses. It seems like a big deal to win in Vegas, because we haven't won this thing since 2002. But to others, it isn't. Even Nova beat a ranked team. KU may beat three.
I wouldn't mind being paired with Virginia. They're weaker with hobbled Anderson. Not convinced Nova is a better match-up.
We say it every year. The rest of the conference hurts us. We rarely gain anything from the conference tournament, except for more Larry Scott jokes and hangovers.
Today, Lunardi has us as a #2 seed in the West; Virginia is the #1....

I agree with everything here.
And since Purdue won't beat Wisconsin today, stability won't ensue. Arizona will be a 2-seed in the west against Villanova, Virginia, or Wisconsin. Arizona had its road win over Utah as a signature win that few could match. After Utah's loss at Washington and now their second loss to Oregon, that road win isn't as meaningful as it once was.
But I don't think there's a 1-seed out there that wants Arizona as a 2-seed.
