This is the first I have heard Kier speak. He is articulate and this actually touched me. If you saw Tommy's interview before this one he said he would do anything to help Kier and they have a connection that he hopes will last a lifetime. Both interviews were touching and you could feel the sincerity from both. Emotional for me.

It'd be very very cool if the University would let these players sell merch with Arizona branding. I'm no IP / NIL expert but I'd love to buy Terry's Arizona jersey for example.
Taking this further... is there any merch in the world where it's just a person's brand that someone is buying / wearing? Shoe are the only thing that come to mind but those are still riding on the main shoe company's brand. Brady had the TB12 thing, he's the GOAT QB who won a recent Superbowl, and I've never seen anyone wear it in my life.
Kind of setting these kids up for failure here by excluding the logo of the team they play for from their merch. Hopefully they're not on the hook for standing inventory.

They have found success through teamwork and things of that nature. It is going to be a great battle on Thursday.” — Utah guard Marco Anthony on No. 2 Arizona

point spreads are estimates of likely betting patterns (i. e., perceptions of betting public), as opposed to score predictions based solely upon expert analyses of comparable team strength....

Utah is terrible, but it’s a late season road game, and we’ll get their best shot, just as with Oregon. We’ll win, just not sure we’ll run them out of the gym.

Going to be a close-ish game but just like every other game you won't actually feel like they're in danger of losing.
It'll probably be around like a 6-14pt lead the whole game once Arizona withstands the initial surge

The Utes get a player back tonight and we get Krissa back who missed this game because of his “horseplay”
Right now the early bettors like the Utes and the 11 points. We played so bad there last year and not sure why. Have a lot more to play for this year that’s for sure.

I found it. Holy...
At the age of seven, Kier's mother Keley suffered a heart attack while driving a car, crashed into a tree and is now paralyzed, blind and cannot speak. Kier was in the automobile with her but was not injured, escaping through a window. As a consequence of the accident and with his father not in his life, Kier and his older brother, Rasheed, came into the custody of their grandmother, Evelyn, and grandfather, David.

“I think she’d just be so proud of how I grew up,” he said. “Obviously, before she had her accident, I was just this kid. She and I were always together — I was literally like her sidekick. Kind of like how Kobe was with his daughter and we were literally always together. Wherever she was, I was and I would always be having fun or just kidding around, or getting on her nerves, whatever it was, I was never really serious. So I think if she saw me, she’d see how mature I have been since that accident, I think she would just be really proud of me.”

We were 12.5 point faves against Oregon, started 13.5 and was bet down from there.
I would guess we win this one by 6ish.

I am surprised that we aren’t getting beat over the head with his story. So much so that I wonder if he asked that the media quit talking about it.
It seemed like we were hearing about it a lot at beginning of season, then it stopped.
Usually the TV repeat these things all season.
This is not meant to belittle his story, I’m just surprised they quit talking about his mother.

March Madness 2022: Ranking the top NCAA Tournament projected seeds and their status as title contenders
A look at the projected top seeds for the NCAA Tournament and how they they should be viewed as March approaches
4. Arizona |
Projected No. 1 seed
Odds to win title: +850
First-year coach Tommy Lloyd has made quick work of his new digs in Arizona. In his debut season as a head coach after waiting in the wings for years at Gonzaga, the Wildcats are 24-2, a projected No. 1 seed and in the
driver's seat to steal the Pac-12 by multiple games. Keep in mind this is during season in which UCLA -- fresh off its Final Four run -- still has most of its pieces in place. This team plays with an edge and swagger that's both intoxicating and efficient.
