Here is the info from the link to save everyone time.
STANFORD, Calif. -- Sophomore guard Robert Cartwright sustained a compound fracture in his forearm during a routine drill Monday and will be lost indefinitely, Stanford coach Johnny Dawkins said Tuesday.

Cartwright, expected to be the Cardinal's starting point guard, is the latest causality for Stanford, which will likely start the season without guards Marcus Allen and Malcolm Allen and center Grant Verhoeven.

Stanford isn't going to be good this year. Any postseason tournament would be a win. Strange year for the conference this year. Teams like Stanford, wsu, uw and USC will be very awful and then Arizona, cal, Oregon and Utah and even UCLA will be good tournament level teams
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.

i'll just go with fuck asu.

The difference is, Arizona will be a team peaking in March and a tough out. Every team will get its best shot. With the right matchups, the Cats very conceivably can make a deep run.

Cal's just not a safe bet to win anything other than a regular-season title, and even then it's going to need help. Even if the recruits are as good as advertised, they need to get their legs under them to keep that winning energy up every night.

Preseason pollsters always underaccount teams' immaturity, and Arizona has perhaps the most mature starting lineup in college basketball this season.
