Gonzaga isn't like other teams I've seen in the last couple of decades. They are disciplined and unrelenting. It's not that they play in streaks, they play fundamental basketball all the time. OAD have changed basketball and Gonzaga is old school. They play basketball like it used to be played. They play steady fundamental basketball on both sides of the court. They don't need the flash players. They play basketball the right way. That has been lost in college basketball since college basketball is, more or less, a farm system to the NBA. I'm coming to the realization that Mark Few is becoming the best college coach in the country, if he isn't already. If you want to learn basketball, I would never tell a player that playing for Gonzaga is a bad decision.
I believe Mark Few is on the level of Bobby Knight, John Wooden, or Dean Smith. I now believe Dan Monson did well because of Mark Few. I believe Mark Few is passing Coach K as the best coach in college basketball today,

No, he is better than K. The ship will come. Let's hope that the devolution to one and donesville happens slowly. However I believe mark few can withstand the temptation of the bright shiny new objects.
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

The Zags do play basketball the right way. I think a lot of their players are 4 stars that have been together with a super type star mix in now and again. They play GOOD basketball.

They have a good blend of the multiyear guys and also some real top line NBA talent. At least 6 months, but some counties have stricter rules.
