Croskey-Merritt is a 5-11, 208, redshirt Senior running back transfer from New Mexico and Montgomery, AL. Last year he ran for 1,190 yards with 17 TDs averaging 6.3 yards per carry. He also had 7 catches for 72 yards and another TD. "Bill" was 2nd team All-Mountain West and an honorable mention All-American by College Football News.
We have 4 running backs listed as co-starters, but Bill is the actual number 1 back. He has been impressive in camp and is the key reason we will not miss losing our top running backs from last season.
Three different players had 1 blocked kick for Arizona last season.
ANG, I will continue to shout this from the rooftops of the internet…
You are the best of us!
Cannot thank you enough for the countdown! You always deliver and get me pumped for the season. Cheers my dude! If we ever meet in person, ALL the drinks are on me.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

did we ever find out what exactly happened to him?
I never saw anything specific, was a very odd situation for sure. We saw a brief flash of what could have been with him running the ball in that one game, would have definitely helped the offense this past season.
The questions were related to if Croskey-Merritt redshirted in 2019. CBS Sports reported ESPN stats show Croskey-Merritt playing in eight games for Alabama State in 2018. Alabama State said that Croskey-Merritt played in only four games in 2019.
Croskey-Merritt reportedly switched numbers with another RB at Alabama State and played only four games in 2019. The official Alabama State biography for Croskey-Merritt states he played in four games with the Hornets as a true freshman. Merritt, as he was known at Alabama State in 2019, wore number two for the Hornets.

Did anybody else notice that New Mexico running back, Henry, with the Arizona A on his helmet? What's the deal there?

I thought that bowl was for seniors and others out of eligibility?

Pretty sure that was Corskey-Merritt. He had the A on one side and the UNM logo on the other. Presumably because he only played like 1.5 games for the Cats.

No. I saw Croskey-Merritt. This was the New Mexico running back Henry. He had a silver helmet on. I'm thinking he traded one logo with Croskey Merritt.
