Choo and Winger nailed it! This is exactly how I feel. All 3 of our guards need to be surrounded by shooters. Collectively it is a big problem.

I'd just look at the transfer portal for mid-major players. With all the one and dones, and unlimited transfers by players, why waste any time on developing freshmen?

I am convinced teams put way too much emphasis on Edey. Unfortunately he is getting 20-30 pts no matter what you do. We held him to 3pts below his average but watched their guards torch us for 53pts. The focus has to be on their guards. One thing I underestimated was their ball screen offense.

I definitely have major concerns with the double team. I have seen many teams give up wide open three after wide open three trying to deploy it. They have 5 players shooting over 44% from three.
