CTL needs to do some Bobby Knight level ass chewing at half time...
I remember a Tempe Normal football team from a few years ago. They lost at home to a very poor UTEP team. Coach Frank Kush went into the dressing room and told the team to leave their uniforms on and just sit there. After the fans had all exited Sun Devil Stadium he had the lights turned back on and they went out for a full scrimmage - ended about 3 a.m.

They are shooting 70% from 3. Teams don't shoot that v well in practice with no D. It's fucking ridiculous.
Some of Stanford's makes were hardly defended. Arizona has a well-established tradition of giving up open 3s. The deeper into the season we get, the less you can get away with it. And by March, forget it.

Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

We don't have to be #1 in December but we do have to beat teams like Stanford.

Boz in, he'll will miss his first shot and quit shooting.

We missed our momentum moment a couple minute ago. Sorry guys.

I wonder if Tommy ever rips 'em a new one, or if it's just not in his DNA.

Losing 3 out of 5, can't imagine any writers and coaches leaving them top 10
2 of those are different from the last.
“The reality is that the hardest games to win are over teams on their home court. Teams that don’t play those games can spin it however they want, but what they’re saying is, ‘We don’t want to lose in our non conference season.’" - Sean Miller
Hard to figure out how this team went from looking absolutely dominant in non con to just lost.
Defense has been poor and on offensive side seems like we are not looking for those extra passes and assists, not setting up Ballo. PG position has turned into a big time question mark going into the new year

CTL needs to do some soul searching and cold blooded analysis of his drop defense to defend the screen......its increasingly not working.
Purdue beat it, FAU followed suit and Stanford slaughtered it today. We need to learn to defend the high ball screen without giving up wide open 3's
Agree
Stubbornness is what hurts good coaches (Miller) and is now hurting Tommy
I will see you there, or I will see you on another time

Teams have discovered how to beat us and Floyd doesn't appear to be making adjustments. That's what concerns me most. Giving up 100 to a horrible Stanford team? The wheels appear to be coming off. I see 7 to 8 losses at a minimum with this team. Utah is good. Oregon is good. Colorado is good. The conference will not be a cakewalk. I prefer to look at things realistically. Some posters have issues with that and I really don't care. The win at Duke was the apex of the season. And at the end of the season Duke will be in the Final Four again and we'll be eliminated in the first round......again. Call me all the names you want, hurl the childish insults, ban me.....again I don't care. Zero final fours in well over two decades despite loads of talent (and cheating) kind of speaks for itself. I just don't let myself get sucked in anymore because you know the collapse is imminent. Arizona is the college basketball version of the Dallas Cowboys.

This one played out almost identical to last year at Maples. I thought this team was built different.
I still think this team has a higher ceiling than last year’s, mainly because Love/Bradley/Lewis is just an immeasurably better guard situation than the Kriisa era.

Biz is not an improvement over Kriisa. I just don’t see how anyone had Boz in the draft this year. He just looks lost out there a lot. Doesn’t shoot well, doesn’t draw any fouls and is a liability on defense. IMO naturally

I’m so glad I missed this game to go to a New Year’s Eve wedding/party.
I'm glad I went for a walk.
