My wife's nephew who is a crew chief on an A10 at DM agrees. Now he is moving to Luke AFB.
Need to have complete command of the air against an opponent that has no air defense systems.
And why Ukraine doesn't want any.
Mentioned it in the other thread, but my cousin who flies F16s at DM says he can take down an A-10 over the horizon with his ancient missile system.
