Well we look like we figured some stuff out at end of half - need stops and better shots
Our end of half/game plays don’t look good so I hope we aren’t in a nail biter

LLoyd should NOT have let Love back into the game. Clemson knows his tendencies and if he’s not going to drive, then he is a liability.

Terrible first half of coaching.

Love 2-9 from the field, 3 TO's

Pelle 1-5 from the field, 2 TO's

At least we got it under 10.

I'll repeat what I said at the beginning of the game.........we need to limit the TO's. If we do that we can still win this game. Repeat the 1st half and we'll be on the 1st flight back to Tucson

Win the turnover battle, win the game.

Clemson only forces 9 turnovers a game. Lloyd will love it if the Cats stay below 10.

Abysmal first half. Airballs, turnovers, cold shooting but more depressing was letting Clemson score nearly 40 points.

Let’s see what this team is made of. 20 minutes left in their season.

The ball got kicked out to him w/ 6 seconds on the shot clock.

Clemson has NEVER trailed in 2.5 games. Teams are shooting 11-58 from three against them. That is insane

We are shooting 40%/18/37 which will never get it done. Larsson and Love a combined 3-14

Agree, meant more so that our end of half or game plays seem to always devolve to chuck a 3

The 2nd half will turn on Love's performance.

Live by Love, Die by Love.

If he can't hit wide open 3's he needs to:

1) Drive to the hole
2) Facilitate for others

If he keeps chucking with the same results we are finished

I've been hard on Lloyd this season on purpose. He's too tight and conservative in big games. Our flaws get exploited against well coached teams with adequate talent. Love can't play sloppy against smart competition, and somehow Lloyd has not gotten that message across.

It's crazy how year after year after year, Arizona shows up in the tourney and has one of their worst games of the season. Sometimes it's the 2nd round, sometimes later. Sometimes it's even the 1st round against an Ivy League team.

Game isn't over yet. But so far, only Bradley, Lewis and Ballo are dialed in. I don't wanna see Larsson and Love go out like this.

Their defense is the best we've seen in the tournament. Scott Drew is an excellent coach, and Clemson made Baylor look pedestrian. Granted they missed a ton of shot like we have. But it's the pressure that messes up your timing which can cause missed shots.

Yes it is.

This is not the NBA where we are playing a best of 7 series. Its one and done.

That means you have to be on your game for 6 straight games...........and Love hasn't had a streak like that all year.

Ballo too. Give the big man the ball! He won't make a free throw, but like the analyst said, the other players will.

Exactly, and Lloyd has been too. Let's see what he comes up with the 2nd half. Half time analysts figure the game it already over.

Driving to rack, and motion on offense to get lanes and looks.

defense wasn’t great first half so would like to see better close outs and switching so we don’t get out of position and can get some stops

I want to see us hit the boards ferociously, and tie the game or lead within the first five minutes of the second half to set the tone. From there, give ourselves a decent cushion by finding creative ways to pound the ball and drive to the basket.

IMNSHO, at least half of our missed shots were one's we all expect to hit at a high rate - open, in-the-flow, etc.

There's a damn lid on that basket
